Patty Deptawa

Patty has been with Acenar for over 19 years, since its inception on the San Antonio Riverwalk. She started her career with Lisa Wong at her other restaurant venture, Rosarios, at the San Antonio Airport. Patty’s parents met in Thailand where her father was stationed in the USAF.

She is a proud mother to three wonderful children, with the oldest recently receiving his Master’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Special Education. Her other son is a lead bartender at a local restaurant, while her daughter just started her first job at the San Antonio Zoo.

She enjoys anything 80’s culture, a good ghost story, as well as spending time with her two Argentine Mastiffs. While on the job, Patty enjoys meeting new people from all over the world that come through Acenar’s doors as well as educating them on the history of the brand and San Antonio Riverwalk. She excels at making sure that every guest has an amazing experience while dining at Acenar.

Gus Rodriguez

Gus has been a staple at Acenar since 2006 and has been a huge part of the success of the restaurant. He initially started as a server and bartender and over the years has worked his way up to bar manager as well as the event coordinator for the restaurant. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, he is able to utilize his education to steer the business in the right direction financially. Always looking out for the bottom line, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
In his spare time, Gus enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. He tries to stay active with regular hiking, swimming, & camping excursions as well as days at the beach.
